BICA Credentials consist of two PVC cards that are completed, authenticated, and laminated.

Card A (upper credential) identifies the agency, name, acronym, bearer name, title, and credential number.

Card B (lower credential) consists of a statement of authority, bearer photography, the authorizing officials, agency seal, issue date, and bearer’s signature.

 

Public Relations Officer I-II/Technical Specialist I-II: Not issued a badge but a (SCEC) Security clearance entry card to specialists who regularly perform operational support.

 

Private Investigator/Criminal Investigator I-V: Issued a sliver badge inscribed with the words appointed, private investigator or criminal investigator, investigative service, badge number with agency seal. Credentials and badges are only issued to investigators who regularly perform investigative duties.

 

Close Protection Agent I-V: Issued a sliver badge inscribed with the words appointed, close protection agent, protective service, badge number with agency seal. Credentials and badges are only issued to agents who regularly perform close protection to clients.

 

Fugitive Recovery Agent I-V: Issued a sliver badge inscribed with the words appointed, fugitive recovery agent, warrant service, badge number with agency seal. Credentials and badges are only issued to agents who regularly perform fugitive apprehensions.
