EULOGY: The Kay Bauer that BACM knows; is from Stratford, Connecticut and she started as a chaplain, was promoted to Director of Mental Health Outreach due to her 26yrs of experience in the field, and later was appointed as the Executive Director of Behavioral Analysis and Crisis Management; formerly known as Chaplains on Call and Emergency Response. During her time of service she helped create the foundational idea of Operation Jayde now known as OpenArms a free program focused on serving victims of domestic violence, those with mental health challenges, the homeless, and others in need by providing supplies, resources, legal service, and extraction if needed. Kay also inspired the merge of Operation Jayde and CCER into what it is known now. She was also a musician who played genres from classical to prog metal. Finding someone to take over her position willn't be easy as she left a mark that many haven't measured up to; she is truly missed and will remain honored at BACM. Kay wasn't just a colleague but also a close friend almost like a blood sister; she was there no matter if times got rough and foggy. May she rest in peace.

EULOGY: Ms. Cross was a woman of unwavering compassion, quiet strength, and profound dedication. As a chaplain, she served not only in the field but also within our offices, becoming a source of comfort, guidance, and emotional resilience for so many. She was more than a colleague; she was a confidant. Many of our own personnel turned to her in their times of deepest need, trusting her with their burdens, their fears, and their hopes. She carried each of these moments with grace, never seeking recognition, only striving to help others stand a little taller when the weight of the world bore down. Her presence brought calm in the midst of chaos and clarity during times of confusion. Whether she was on the front lines or quietly offering a listening ear behind closed doors, her impact was deeply felt. Her ability to meet others with empathy and understanding was not just a skill, it was a calling. The legacy she left behind was one of compassion, service, and unwavering faith in the human spirit.
